His passion for wood began when he met a naval carpenter for whom he worked in his workshop. He then decided to study architecture at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-arts in Paris. After a trip to the United States, he set up his own practice in the Paris region to continue working with wood, a material he is particularly fond of. His designs revolve around the desire to combine modernity and tradition. Although still little known to the general public, his furniture is nevertheless featured at prestigious auctions.
