When listing your item on Whoppah, you indicate how large and heavy it is. Based on this, we automatically select the correct shipping method and calculate the right shipping cost. That's why it's important to fill in the package class carefully.
Whoppah uses five package classes:
| Class | Max. weight | Max. dimensions (L × W × H) |
|---|---|---|
| Letterbox | 1 kg | 38 × 26 × 3 cm |
| Shoebox | 5 kg | 30 × 20 × 15 cm |
| Standard | 10 kg | 50 × 30 × 20 cm |
| Large | 15 kg | 75 × 40 × 35 cm |
| Maximum | 23 kg | 100 × 50 × 50 cm |
Always choose the smallest class your item fits into. Measure your item including the packaging before making a choice.
Why is this so important?
The carrier checks packages for weight and dimensions. If your package doesn't match the selected class, the carrier may charge a surcharge. Whoppah actively monitors this. If your package is structurally larger or heavier than the chosen class, we will deduct the difference from your payout. We do this to guarantee fair shipping costs for all users.
