How can I boost my ad?

What is a Boost?
A Boost increases your ad’s visibility by pushing it to the top of the category page and the “New in” section, helping you attract more interested buyers. There are currently two types of Boost options available:

1. Boost Package (via Web)

What is a Boost Package?
A Boost Package increases your ad’s visibility by up to 16×, placing it prominently on the category page and in the “New in” section for the duration of the boost.

When does my Boost start?
Boosts start immediately when your ad is published or when you activate a boost on an active ad.

Can I buy a Boost after publishing my ad?
Yes. You can purchase a Boost both while creating your ad and later from your ads overview.

Is the price the same if I buy a Boost later?
No. Buying a Boost after publishing your ad is approximately 25% more expensive than purchasing it directly after creating the ad.

How long does a Boost last?
You can choose a 2-day, 4-day, or 7-day Boost. Your ad is boosted every day during the selected period.

Does one Boost apply to multiple ads?
No. Each Boost applies to one ad only. If you want to boost multiple ads, you’ll need to purchase a separate Boost for each ad. Multiple ads can be boosted simultaneously, but each requires its own Boost.

What if I don’t see the option to boost my ad?
Your ad may already be boosted. You can only boost an ad again after the current Boost has ended.

Where can I see that my ad is boosted?
Boosted ads are marked with a lightning icon (⚡️) in your ad information.

Does a Boost guarantee a sale?
No. Boosting increases your ad’s visibility but doesn’t guarantee views, enquiries, or sales.

Can I get a refund for my boost if my item doesn’t sell?
No. Boosts are non-refundable once activated.

Will boosting affect my price or offers?
No. A Boost only improves visibility — pricing and offers remain unaffected.

2. Single Boost (via App)

What is the Single Boost?
For €7.99, you can boost your ad within the app by placing it again at the top of the product overview, making your item more visible to potential buyers.

How can I use the Single Boost?
Go to ‘Account’ → ‘My ads’, select the ad you want to promote, and choose the Boost option.
Please note: the duration of this Boost may vary depending on competition at that moment.

Tips to help you sell faster
Even with boosting, the presentation of your ad matters. To make your listings stand out:
1. Sell 5× faster with top photos
Take clear, bright photos with natural daylight, a neutral background, and eye-level framing.
2. Provide enough information
Add key details such as condition, designer, or brand — the more information, the better.
3. Set an attractive price
Check similar items to determine a fair price. Use the “Buy Now” button to let buyers purchase directly.
Tip: lower your price over time; buyers who marked your item as a favorite will get a notification when you do.
