Don’t share personal contact details
- Please don’t send phone numbers, emails or social media accounts.
- These are blocked automatically to protect your privacy.
View Before You Buy (Pick-Up Option)
- You can choose to inspect an item in person before confirming your purchase.
- Pay in advance to reserve the item, the payment is safely held in escrow.
- Arrange a visit with the seller through the chat.
- Not happy after viewing? You get a full refund.
- Happy with the item? We release the payment to the seller.
- Only available when “Pick-Up” is selected at checkout.

- Always chat and pay directly through Whoppah.
- Never agree to meet or pay outside the platform.
- It’s the only way we can guarantee a secure experience.
Never click on payment links or QR codes
Scammers sometimes try to send fake payment requests — always use Whoppah’s built-in payment buttons.
Don’t click on external links
Keep all communication and transactions within Whoppah. If someone shares a suspicious link, report it via spam@whoppah.com.
