Are you a business seller outside the Netherlands and do you have a valid VAT number? Then you do not pay VAT based on the reverse charge mechanism. As a foreign seller, you must declare in the tax return that you have to report an amount of reverse-charge VAT. Please ensure your VAT number is correctly entered in your account details to avoid any unnecessary charges.
When you're operating outside of the Netherlands and you don't have a EU VAT number, we charge a 16% fee plus 21% VAT. For example: you sell an item for 100 euro. This means that the pay out is €80,64.
