Nylon that changed what luxury means
Prada began as a Milan leather goods shop in 1913, but its modern legend starts in 1984, when Miuccia Prada put industrial black nylon on a luxury backpack and redefined what expensive could look like. Secondhand Prada spans that whole argument: Saffiano-leather Galleria totes on the polished side, Re-Edition hobos reviving the house's 2000-era minis on the fashion side, and the triangle logo holding it together.
