Thonet No. 14 chair by Fischel, Mundus or Kohn name: No. 14 chair designer: Thonet manufacturer: Thonet design year: 1856 with patina and character brown with black accents cafe or bistro chair steamed curved bent wood, usually beech seat of pressed plywood with embossed relief design classic Thonet was very successful and couldn’t meet the demand and therefore licensed other manufacturers to produce their chairs. Most populair were Fischel, Mundus and Kohn.
