Foyer/Lobby Stool by Nel Verschuuren for the Schouwburg Amstelveen (City Playhouse/Theater in the city Amstelveen, the Netherlands) Dutch Architect Nel Verschuuren designed the public spaces of the new City Theater Amstelveen in 2001. She also designed a custom suite of furniture for these spaces, of which we have diverse pieces. made-to-order exclusive architect designed stool; these are actually the chairs with the back removed made by Joosten Projecten, custom made, not commercially available folded heavy-gauge sheet steel, clear-coated, gun-metal silver grey leatherette seat heavy-duty, built to last, solid, stable, sturdy slightly splayed legs practically indestructible,heavily used contemporary,minimalistic, modern book: Schouw-Burg Amstelveen, 2001, Aaron van Amerongen, pg 31 & 33 seat cushion: 10 x 32 x 32 cm
