First Edition Revolve office chair by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel completely original! untouched! hasn’t been “improved” or painted very very rare, very desirable and very collectable; this is a museum piece blackperforated skai/leatheretteupholstery on the seat and back skai/leatherette armrests grey powder-coated folded sheet steel shell very rare open loop legs height adjustable (about an 12 cm range) while the original upholstery is in surprisingly good condition the foam inside is no longer as fresh as it once was; a good upholsterer should be able to place new foam while maintaining/preserving this rare original upholstery made: 19 November 1963 is imprinted/stamped/embossed and the original date sticker still present underneath later Friso put standard chair legs underneath and it became the Resort chair dutch industrial design! seating, work, desk 60s, 1960s, sixties vintage, retro, mid-century modern
